We are a primary health care facility providing HIV, AIDS and TB-related treatment, care and support services. We are an accredited antiretroviral (ARV) treatment initiation and on-going treatment site. We give nutritional supplements, fortified porridge and vegetables to under-nourished patients. We are a volunteer driven organisation. We provide child protection services that promote, protect and enhance the safety, well-being and healthy development of children. Our programmes create a safe and caring environment and promote community mobilisation for the effective protection of children. At our branch we support disadvantaged children in our community through our holiday programmes for children which includes face painting, education and awareness about child abuse. We have introduced a special unit called "Junior Child Welfare" where we run recreational and life skills programmes for children in the community. We have a child care programme which entails visiting schools and creches to carry out developmental programmes about child care. We run a family care programme which is directed towards women's and children's rights and we have a help desk at the local court to offer assistance.
